People should date within their tax bracket if they're serious about starting a family. Think about what kind of childhood you'd prefer. One where both your parents worked and had enough money to get you things while being away enough so that you get the house to yourself while they're at work in the summer time, or one in which your mother is around all the time and nagging and complaining constantly and pressuring your dad for not making enough money.

These days a single income isn't enough, and broke women will see you as little more than a sponsor. If they decide they're bored and need a change, their gap in employment means the state will force you to pay spousal support until she can get a job. She's going to take her sweet time while various men stretch her out and spend on her.
