what do you think brehs?
Seriously what the fukk is Tabata even saying?
The Overture demo even showed single button presses for single attack or dodge to happen, as well as holds for chaining both attacks and dodges, why is he going on about one button action bullshyt that implies it's only holds?
Here is just a mock up, just pretend R2 is Warp, O is Attack and X is Defend.
Starts on idle, R2 was then pressed for Warp, he warps to the Goblin and then O is held down to chain two sword hits on the Goblin, O is then let go, we can see the Attack bar go down which would only happen if no button is being pressed, then O is pressed a single time and a single sword swing attacks the Goblin, then X is pressed for a single dodge, then back to idle.

The way Tabata is describing it is as if you can only attack by holding down buttons and not by single presses, but we just saw single presses.
