Dude, the moment that kid talked back at me, I had Vietnam flashbacks of when my son tried to come at my neck a while ago. Damn near was about to get the belt to my playstation.

I understand why they switched it up, but I prefer the OG series. It felt way more epic, the combat/weapons were better, the camera was better, and the enemies/bosses were better. Not to say that the Norse series was bad, I’ll give it a 8/10. But those games have horrible replay value, unnecessary rpg elements, inferior gameplay/camera compared to the OG, and boring walking sections. Ragnarok did do a better job with the enemy variety and boss battles. Compared to 2018…but it also gave us that boring ass Angrboda section.

Man the OG series just made you feel like it's you against the world. Folks turned their backs on you, forgiven the trauma of your past, and just trying to understand the meaning of life and if its all worth the power and the glory.

OG Kratos had more of a character than the modern take of Bowy Kratos.

Dude had a reason to want to kill all the Gods. He thrived on malice intentions because he was conditioned to such ways, but found out that he has a heart in the process of vengeance.

Meanwhile, I'm still trying to understand this modern series and quite frankly over the Viking Triple H nord long beard bullshyt that's been going on in gaming.

Anyway...as a father and an OG fan of the old ones, I appreciated the growth from Reckless Kratos to Seasoned Kratos, and the character was still growing to be a better man/father at the same time.
