Don't do this here OP.

Nothing but Stan shyt round these parts.

If you ask anything here about anything, the answer is going to be whatever system game or feature sony is associated with @charmander

Unless there is stuff that you want to play right now for ps4 only then you should not get one. Unless you just prepping for the future. There is absolutely no reason to go out and pay more for a ps4 fpr next year, at that point you can wait and potentially catcha price drop or some holiday bundle. This holiday season the xb1 has a great line up and its cheaper.

Interface and Sharing
Once cumbersome and heavily dependent on Kinect voice commands, Xbox One's tiled, Windows 8-esque interface has enjoyed a significant overhaul over the past year. One of its biggest strengths is its multitasking Snap mode, which lets you do things like view your friends list, watch a Twitch stream or track your progress on the right side of the screen while playing a game or watching TV on the left.

If you don't have a Kinect to perform commands like "Xbox, Snap" or "Xbox, record that," you can use the new Snap menu to Snap in apps or record your last 30 seconds of gameplay with a few button presses.

While the Xbox One interface continues to become more user-friendly, PS4 is still king in terms of capturing gameplay moments and sharing them with friends. A quick tap of the DualShock 4's Share button brings up a menu that lets you record a clip, broadcast your gameplay or take a screenshot, the last of which is something the Xbox One still somehow can't do.

Both consoles can broadcast gameplay to Twitch. (PS4 owners also have the option of UStream.) PS4 players can share their screenshots and videos to Facebook, while Xbox owners can share their clips to Twitter.

Sony's system has an exclusive Share Play feature, which lets you invite an online friend to watch you play for up to 60 minutes and, if you're a PlayStation Plus member, let him or her take over your game to help you get past a tough level. If both users have Plus, you can simulate a local multiplayer session online using just one copy of a game. PS4 also has Remote Play, which lets you stream your PS4 games to a PlayStation Vita or Xperia Z3 device if you have to give up the TV.

Ever since the system's launch, Xbox One gamers have enjoyed the ability to immediately pick their game back up where they last powered-down, and now PS4 owners can do the same. A recent PS4 update added Suspend/Resume mode, which, like on Xbox One, lets you wake your system from sleep mode and get right back to gaming without having to relaunch whatever you were playing.

Winner: PS4. Xbox One has multitasking and more customization, but PS4 is the better system for sharing gameplay moments with friends.
besides the incorrect info about Xbox one not having screenshot support this is good.

Houston to LA like I'm Robert Horry.
I like all the things you have listed. :ohhh:

Also consider, I had a PS1, PS2, Xbox, Xbox 360, PS3, in that order. I got no bias. All I see is fanboy shyt on this site and like @charmander would like some solid points instead.

Yeah I've owned every one of the Sony and MS systems except for the OG Xbox, but the last two gens I've preferred the Xbox. It all depends what you're interested in :yeshrug:

Gears & Halo mean more to me than any other PS exclusive. I like the Xbox controller better. I like the UI and Xbox Live better. Even despite 3rd party games looking better on the PS4, I'd still rather play them on Xbox if there isn't a significant difference because a lot of my friends have Xbox and I prefer achievements over trophies.

The systems are so close to each other it all depends on what you value IMO and a big part of that is exclusives :yeshrug:

The Truth
yea i have heard a few things about the build quality...and i tend to run thru controllers pretty quickly either from wear and tear, or just being clumsy, or just getting pissed off and throwing my shyt across the room on some drunk sore loser shyt :heh:

word, good breakdown

the thing about how similar the systems are is really why it's so difficult to really choose...i'm leaning towards PS4 just because they got more games i'm interested in right now and in the future, and most people i know are on it...the swappable hard drive thing and the recent media player update are also bonuses

it really seems like they are the same console tho, just with a handful of different features (PS4's being more oriented to games, X1's being more oriented to entertainment)
Then there it is bruh, definitely get a PS4 because having people to play with is a important thing

I'm honestly not interested in any games coming out on PS4 now or in the future. Most of my shyt I do on the XB1 is online gaming with friends, TV, and entertainment. I'm not interested in most of PS4 games but if you are then cop that

The playroom is also cool af on nights where you don't want to go out and you're drunk :mjlol:

And those XB1 controllers are pretty much indestructible... I would know :francis:

To be honest comes down to online service and features. Both systems present all their games in 1080P now. Which one would you rather have ?

Xbox Live or PSN xbox live updates every month with new features
Controller Xbox or PS4
seamless integration Windows 10 PC xbox
Features Better recording sharing apps and game hubs

You figure it out your money but don't fall for the hype with PS4 I have both shyt is just a new body with PS3 interface

Plus Xbox cheaper

:mjlol::mjlol::mjlol::mjlol:

Which system has most of your friends that get online on it is the one you should get imo

I used to have a PS4 and it was dope but more of my friends were on XB1 so I switched. I really miss them game download times on the PS4 doe :mjcry:

I too have this dilemma but I'm leaning towards the XB1. Gears remake, Halo collection and Rare collection being released got me interested. But can someone plz answer me this, I heard you can't add music/videos onto your hd of either two consoles.

The install times are insane on the XB1 :why: I don't think anyone who owns both systems can dispute that.

I hope the new system UI fixes some of those issues.

PS4 if you are looking to primarily play games.

XBOX One for everything else though. All the features and the OS on the XB1 shyts on the Sony OS.
