Nah I agree with you as far as him being more than a shooter. He definitely is. I just think that team would be way better if they had a true point guard running things.

That team isn't going anywhere with Steph handling the ball most of the time.

No, the Warriors need Steph handling the ball. Steph's not a Ray Allen type in catching and shooting. He's the most dangerous off the dribble because he's pretty crafty at getting into the lane, he always has to be played right due to his freakish shooting ability.

The Warriors are a glass cannon. They're capable of beating anyone in the league off the strength of their jump shooting. Jump shooting is never the best game plan though. You need an interior presence on both offense and defense.

Curry isn't the problem. They're problem is they have some defensive matchup nightmares against the other top teams in the league.

They're not a team that can make key defensive stops when needed and they REALLY struggle when Curry is off because he's the only guy who can consistently create for himself.

Put someone like Monroe, Horford, Milsap, or even Bosh on that team and they become very deadly.

The biggest problem is disciplined defenses (Spurs) or the Thunder because the Thunder have more firepower than they do.

Besides their shytty defense and live by the three die by the three offense, they have lackadaisical effort all of the time and they commit stupid ass turnovers all of the time and it's not just curry, it's all of them.

Part of this inefficiency is the fact they force a guy like curry to be their offensive catalyst.

I'm not saying Curry is a bad player I just think if Curry is the primary distributor, you're going to lose a lot more than you win.

They really, really miss Jarrett Jack. Even though he'd chuck up a lot of dumbass shots, he was at least a serviceable backup.

This team needs some semblance of consistency to be successful.

I'm so sick of this true point guard crap. Are point guards not allowed to shoot? Are they all supposed to play like Ricky Rubio and Jason Kidd? Are we acting like Magic, Isiah, Nash, Chris Paul etc. don't shoot? If any of those guys could shoot like Curry they would shoot instead of pass every single time. Being a point guard is about decision making and it just so happens that Steph Curry shooting the ball himself is the best option available to his team most of the time, so he does it. Being a pass first point guard doesn't mean you're a true point guard. True point guard is the dumbest fukking phrase on earth.

He's a good player, but he's the definition of a 2nd tier superstar. He's like Stephen Curry.

To be honest, I would say the most recent player to enter the "superstar" category, and I never thought it would happen

Blake Griffin

like homie said on the 1st page, i dont like the wording but i voted yes.

hes not a top-tier player and prolly never will be. i think he will still get better but this will be his peak in terms of status. people in here trying to say hes better than melo. he will never be in that top 3 SF discussion with bron/melo/durant. im sorry. george paul is at his peak position, as the best of the rest.

kyrie is actually more overrated right now, but he has the talent to be what theyre hyping him up as.

up until the past couple months tho, i wouldve gave this crown to blake griffin tho. but he seriously stepped his game up.
