It's hard for me, positive relationship sometimes get confused with being in new or young love. I will say positive relationship is when every decision that is made between partners are done selflessness and for some reason it makes both of you happy. Through this sense of mutual satisfaction you find tangible utility. For example, being around this person stops you from doing negative or self destructive things and you have gravitated toward being a better person then this is a positive exchange. But this also charges the other partner to continue this behavior and then you have ebb and flow, it continues until you two both reach your goals in life.

I agree, cept for the part where that person helps you not do negative things. If the person leaves and you return to those destructive behaviors, you haven't grown at all .
