Quentin's work day:
-Write songs.
-Rap/Sing the lyrics.
-Show Drake the song and how it's supposed to sound.
-Watch drake fumble over the lines.
-Walk him through it slowly.
-Get tied up in the basement.
-Do the same tomorrow.

Lol... On the real though..I owned a home studio.. Sometime u take part of a song spit it differently and send it to the artist..

Listen to the "know yourself" reference track, then listen to Drake's version. Quentin has 0 flow, swag, voice, or charisma. Ghostwriting is the best thing he could do

Money will give you that. Drake in the very beginning had that boring monotone flow which he still has except his confidence and charisma are way up because of money and fame. Most underground rappers waiting in the wings still sound unpolished and lackluster because their zest for life isn't on the same level as the guy making 50k a night with access to everything. I swear people don't think at all

Most artists go through many takes and edits. Like I said in another post,the biggest part is coming up with a skeleton and building in to it. The finished manuscript might go through 10 edits to the point that it looks very different from the first draft but best believe that the first draft is what made the final or execution version possible. In this case, it's easy to see how Quentin's version could have been modified to make it album and radio ready

Quentin reminds me a lot of Jay Ant and Dom Kennedy, so I don't understand why people are saying he's not good enough to rap. If anything, being around the stu with people in the industry should only help him develop further.

Man people trying to talk down on Quentin are tripping. With the right polish, he could've easily blown up with the 10 bands track. Especially if Drake threw him that stimulus package feature.

To be fair, one of the same people who tweeted about that have also said that Meek came to Quentin in February wanting QM to write for him and he said no, which is why Meek was mad in the first place
