My logic is..he doesn't want to deal with the industry via the camera....and/or he makes more moeny low key....or...he doesnt make as much if he was in the forefront..but its less stressful when ur a shadow in the industry

Nah, he's writing them (some for Drake himself, some are definitely Quentin songs based on the references) and Drake is taking them and changing them up a lil bit. For example, Drake took 7 random bars from Quentin's version of RICO and filled in the other 17 himself. This is what he means when he says they "collaborated"
Most artists go through many takes and edits. Like I said in another post,the biggest part is coming up.with a Skeleton and building in to it. The finished manuscript might go through 10 edits to the point that i looks very different from the first draft but best belive that the first draft is what made the final or execution version possible. in this case, it's easy to see how Quentin's version could have been modified to make it album and radio ready
To be fair, one of the same people who tweeted about that have also said that Meek came to Quentin in February wanting QM to write for him and he said no, which is why Meek was mad in the first place
