People really think they’re music critics these days lol. I posted about the album at work and I got all these people trying to convince me that it’s a bad album. Solange ain’t even that caliber artist( rabid fan base, stans) that will try to make this project out to be something that casual just didn’t understand

I fukk with Solange but after running it back 2x its just ok to me, seems like she was trying a bit too hard with the interludes to come off different and abstract, alot of the joints just sound like half baked ideas
This. I know what you mean. Solange is a reactionary artist so she should have known better than this. She broke one of the cardinal rules which is for acclaimed albums you never follow up with another album with the same exact mood. The same way Kendrick had TPAB and then the polar opposite with DAMN is what Solange should have done. When she even announced months ago that her album was gonna come out soon didn't she say it would be some uptempo funk or something? I forget her exact words but she wa definitely talking about some type of funk. I didn't get that at all.
I know Beyonce is her sister but when Bey was writing captions getting excited...
these artists gotta start analyzing and listening to their projects before they release them more often. This is bad she really dropped the ball. All those years of being Bey's little sister and being clowned and then releasing ASATT and gaining mad respect and you regress like this? Solange... 
I think she let the quiet woke whisper image she was being typecasted as go straight to her head.I mean even the the video clip of the Way To The Show track she has on the same outfit with similar dancers as the Don't Touch My Hair video.

If anyone saw her appearance on Random Acts of Flyness, you'd say that the album is basically her performance in the show 19 times.
I do like Dreams and Sound of Rain but you barely understand wtf she is saying.
