Honestly think the 17-21 demo seems more willing than ever to listen to female artists’ album with very little repercussions ... I’m willing to bet guys who publicly said they listened to Mary Js “My Life” album alone during that era got severely clowned...

There was a vid of some high schoolers singing and dancing among themselves to Ella Mais Bood Up that went viral ...


But group of high school guys dancing in a circle to “Real Love” during that era probably woulda gotten ostracized and clowned .

Got that thump in the trunk, riding around or sitting at home on a warm day with the doors open feeling. Nope, not an album that you're going to find songs that really express moments/issues/feelings, but it's an album for when you're feeling content and chill.


Can't wait until this fukk ass rain/clouds roll out so I can really vibe (hit yall with this word again :umadd: ) with this in nice weather.

People swear they’re music critics man.... quit doing too much and just enjoy the music... if you don’t like it that’s cool too. I just get tiredness of people overdoing it with the praise or criticism. I’m trying to imagine how it would be if the classic albums from back in the day were judged like albums are today. I like this Solange album but I’m not comparing it to some old album..I’m going to let it stand on its own.
