breh you have to find the answer for the numbers 4-7 before you get the answer for 8

You're assuming 4-7 are missing. In that case it works the same way:

The answer is 96. It can also be 19 if it's a trick question.

That is actually easy, pretty creative though. lol

edit: Oh lord, just take the number that comes after the second number on the number scale and multiply it by the first number.

1+4=5

5 comes after 4 on a number scale so multiply that number by 1.

3+6=21

7 comes after 6 on the number scale so multiple that number by 3.

You can also multiply the two numbers and then add the first number:
1 * 4 + 1 = 5
2 * 5 + 2 = 12
3 * 6 + 3 = 21
8 * 11 + 8 = 96

There are multiple potential patterns. Regardless, I will stick with real math 8 + 11 = 19. The middle 2 calculations are impossible.

Another way to think about it is this:

1 + 4 = 5 //correct
2 + 5 = 12 //incorrect
3 + 6 = 21 //incorrect
8 + 11 = 19 //correct

8 + 11 is always 19 regardless of the other equations.

To me it's 96

1 + 4= 5

2 + 5=12 (+7)

3 + 6=21 (+9)

4 + 7 = 32 (+11)

5 + 8 = 45 (+13)

6 + 9 = 60 (+15)

7 + 10 = 77 (+17)

8 + 11 = 96 (+19)

Progressively the as you go down the column you add +2

The sum of the first problem is added to the second problem. The sum of the second problem is added to the third problem. The sum of the third problem is added to the fourth problem.

The answer is 40.

maybe... but

you're skipping numbers 4-7 in column A
