I hope it doesn't. Making the minimum wage higher makes companies unable to hire unskilled workers

It would actually increase unemployment

The emotion of a pretend Socialist who's thinking about the monetary gain of themselves, instead of the monetary gain of people as a whole

You hate to see it

To be successful in today's zero sum game economy, you have to be born with the correct personality traits of narcissism, Machiavellianism, charisma and psychopathy. I'm not saying you gotta be Patrick Bateman and eat homeless people but you gotta have some level of "cut throat" about you. Most people aren't born with the optimal combination of these personality traits, they just want to clock in, do their bit for mammon and go home to their family at night and maybe crack open a beer or two on weekends with their friends. They dont live to work they work to live. This doesn't make them immoral or lazy. There was a law of attraction thread on here that talked about this but I think the answer I gave then applies to this thread.

@Disclosure do you believe in Calvinism?

some people seriously want those jobs.
are they destined? no. there's a lot of people in those jobs that are very talented and smart but they just don't know how to move ahead to better positions.
this goes into bad school systems, the system designed it this way and so on.

Facts, good points @humminbird
