Why did I click on this thread :snoop:

I've seen so much fukked up shyt to the point of seriously considering adoption several times

There's too many neglected/mistreated children out here to really make a difference

Yup, been saying I want to foster then adopt a kid or two. There are so many who just want to be loved and to feel safe. That it's it.

As a father of 2 boys, this shyt is unbearable to watch. I would rather die than to willingly abandon my boys.

This literally damn near made me cry. Watching this instantly makes you think of your own children in that situation in an alternate reality....

Would quickly take death over any harm being inflicted on my daughters...

I remember one year we lost a cousin at Mardi Gras. We were allowed to walk up the block to see the floats as long as we stayed in a group but you know kids.

Its crazy but somehow I hope the mom was at work and maybe one of the siblings were just being lazy and he found his way outside. Other than that, that mom should lose all custody

Yeah I’m serious girl. I used to do a lot of volunteering in those areas and it saddened me, it’s like kids are my weak spot. I can’t handle seeing them mistreated, neglected or in inhumane conditions. I saw those kids playing in a glass/trash yard.

Crazy thing is that even in the neighborhood I used to live in, I used to see 6 year olds walking around the neighborhood with their 2 or 3 year brother/sister as if they were supposed to be taking care of them. There mommas nowhere In sight. It bothered me so much. It’s like forcing those kids to grow up too soon. shyt is so sick to me.

I remember at the playground a little 3 year old by himself I guess playing, I was with my son. So I asked the little kid “where’s your mommy at?” The kid just shrugged. I kept an eye out on him, i didn’t leave until his sister came around(turns out his 12 year old sister was supposed to be watching him). But I’m just like wtf, people need to watch their fukking kids.

I remember a new couple moved to my current neighborhood and they had 3 boys ...6, 3 and newborn. I for the life of me can not understand why those kids were so loosely supervised. The 6 year old would send the 3yr old to knock on people doors at 6am looking for kids to play with over the summer. The guy that lives behind me had to put a fence up because they would just go into his yard and jump on their trampoline and knock on their back door. He use to be pissed because he worked nights at a prison and they would wake him up. My neighbor is retired and made the mistake of giving them snacks when they came by and played with his grandkids one weekend. He said it would be 6:20am and they would swing by his house every morning trying to get snacks and would try to just walk right in his house. I saw the dad leave one day and then the grandmother left soon afterward. The fukking 3 yr old was standing in the middle of the street yelling "Grandma come back.....come back...i want grandma" and was crying in nothing but a pull-up. I put my hedge trimmers down and hurried and grabbed him out of the street and walked him back into the house. The door was wide open and all I heard was snoring and saw the mother's foot peaking from under a blanket. The very next day the oldest boy zoomed out of their driveway and into the street not looking and almost got hit by a car. One day I was about to wash my car but went in the house to use the bathroom. I'm checking on my kids because they taking a nap when i hear kids voices in my garage. I open the door and they literally were in my garage on my kids hotwheels backing up. I've seen the dad hope in his SUV and search the neighborhood looking for them because they do no know where they are at. I pushed the 6yr old out of the street after his hotwheel died and took him home. The dad was watching tv, the mom was sleeping with the newborn and the 3yr old was 2 streets over by himself riding down the road. Seeing the dad reaction was sad to me because it was more out of anger than concern.

Now I see this same 6 year old outside by himself at 6:15am riding his scooter or bike and etc wasting time til his school bus comes around 6:30. I've seen her leave before his school bus even comes so now I feel like it's a duty to open the blinds in my kid's room and keep an eye on him until he get's on the bus while i'm getting my kids dressed in the mornings.

These kids are the color of my word font
