amerikkka is such a wicked wicked country

how the hell y'all dont have free healthcare

a homeless nikka in canada gets the same care as a dude making 7 figures
Mainly becuz dumbazzes fall for these human interest stories. Nobody ask why he has to be in the nfl making a minimum of like 500k for his girl to get treatment. What happens to the kid that isnt lucky to have their pops play in the nfl.

Its poor kids that die from more common sh1t than cancer because they cant afford treatment or have substandard facilities for treatment. No civilized country should have a for profit health industry.

partially in both ears. never passed a hearing test in my life :to:

they be like "do you hear the beeps" I be like no :to:

its not that bad now, im fukked when I get older tho.. when I was in Elementary school though they were predicting id go full deaf by my early 20s so they were getting ready to prepare me to learn sign language, but thankfully after a few minor surgerys I didnt need to :blessed:

But yeah so when I applied for health care outta high school every medical insurance was :whoa: we cant accept you :whoa: you are a liability (no bull shyt they used these words in the rejecting letters) :heh: im like no shyt thats why I need health care in the first place :heh:

so after being denied that shyt, I get hired by AT&T and I get full benefits with no check up at all :heh: how does that make sense :mindblown:

Because of where I clock in I now get full benefits when just the day before I was a liability :mindblown:

the whole process is fukked.. Now im self employed with no benefits again because obama care had a cut off date (:why:) and I applied well before hten but they sent me a letter back saying I didnt fill it out correctly ( :stopitslime: ) and by then it was too late to re sign up so now im waiting to I can sign up again..

damn breh :salute: but that's kind of messed up how you have no health benefits, I remember years ago I was always getting stomach pains and ish, and I went to the hospital and was diagnosed with a stomach ulcer, had to spend a good while going back and forth to the hospital, getting ultrasounds, tests held overnight and ish, but luckily all of that was covered thanks to the health system in canada, if not I could have been in the whole for a heap of cash

they do, it's why many rich Canadians go to the states to the mayo clinic or overseas since they don't want to wait or to try trial drugs and procedures and ish.
which is my point.
Its not that great.

There are pluses and minuses to all systems.
The U.S. is one of the best spots to get specialized treatments.

I would probably rather pay $170 a month and know that I can just walk my ass up into a hospital and get treatment...than pay more in taxes and be at the mercy of the government...i.e. if they feel youre not worth it (too old), they will just let you go.

and dont get it twisted...if you have money in Canada, you can "pay up" for better health care.
$$$ always talks.

What do u get for that 170 that u wouldnt get from the gov? Your provider makes those same decisions. Your provider may refuse certin treatments even when u pay that. They sit in rooms and decide where they can cut cost in your treatment. And what happens if u can't work due to a medical issue? Thats why our country's health care is what it is. People think like u. :snoop:

you can walk into any emergency room in the U.S. and get treatment.
and most likely get most of the bill taken care of by the state...that is a fact.
I got into an accident on a bike...had to be picked up by an ambulance and taken to the ER. The state paid for all but $150 of that shyt.

Canadians are still paying for their healthcare.
Through direct, and indirect taxes.
Plus, the system is hella slow.

Im sure its better for the poor...but middle class and better? I dunno about that

Let's say you needed to have your appendix out how much will that cost you?

For me it would be nothing, only costs would be the prescription drugs and if I wanted a private room.

I prefer this system.

have you been to a county hospital?
You want every hospital to be like that?

I dont think people realize how much people in countries like Canada pay in taxes...im not talking about just FED/State...but how they tax Cars, and other services.

They pay like 50% in France...you really trying to go in that direction?

I for sure think there are things that need to be changed...but its more to do w/ these hospitals, doctors, (basically the healthcare system) over charging for everything. shyt shouldnt be as expensive as it is.

The tax bracket in canada is not that bad like you americans think

U.S. federal income tax brackets range from 10% to 35% for individuals. On the Canadian side, the range is 15% to 29%. In the U.S., the lowest tax bracket bumps to 15% at $8,500 and to 25% at $34,501. The bottom Canadian bracket stays at 15% until $41,544. This is the bulk of the reason that lower-income Canadians are often better off than Americans in an identical tax situation. On the other hand, the IRS taxes the richest Americans at 35% whereas the top federal tax rate in Canada is 29%. Rich Americans, however, have access to many tax deductions that Canada's Alternative Minimum Tax does not allow.

State taxation is done completely outside of the federal tax system and each state has its own tax laws regarding deductions and credits. In Canada, provincial income taxes (except in Quebec) are co-ordinated with the federal tax system and are based on a percentage of federal tax, meaning that the provinces have the same allowable deductions and income rules as the federal system. Each province also has extra credits and incentives.

Some states, like Florida and Alaska, have no state income tax at all whereas all Canadian provinces and territories levy an income tax.

HealthcareNo discussion of U.S. versus Canadian taxes would be complete without comparing the healthcare systems in both countries. The income taxes that Canadians pay partially fund the country's socialized health plan, where everyone has equal access to medical facilities, practitioners and procedures for no additional cost. In the U.S., health care must be paid for out-of-pocket or through a health care insurance plan. Premiums for these plans averaged out at $4,824 per person as of 2009, not including amounts paid for co-pays and deductibles.

1) Non private rooms are for smelly poor people and immigrants

2) Wouldnt there be some kind of waiting list for that treatment? Or is that just of you needed donor tissue?

3) Good insurance goes a long way. I just had double jaw surgery this summer that totaled over 4-5 k. Insurance covered all but bout 75 bucks lol

Not private rooms in canada means like 3 people in a room

2) waiting list? if i go to the dr and get diagnosed with cancer, i'll be getting treatment asap

3) yeah you don't need "good insurance" in canada for that, if you were in canada just being a citizen you would have that double jaw surgery and your only costs would be antiobitics
