What does make sense is that it came from kids who had to wear hand me downs that were too big and they just got used to wearing their pants like that. I sag because I got used to my older brothers clothes fitting me like that, now 15 years down the line I don't even feel comfortable with my pants hiked up around my belly button

I've listened that it has came from prison and slavery but in both intances the conclusion was that it is bad. Fact is, everyone who does it looks ridiculous
