I mean if the populism is too much, you could also look at his pro-strike positions, legalizing weed and Medicare For All for why he appeals to some people. He's also proposed stuff like a maximum income for elected officials to keep politicians for selling the country out to big pharma and other lobbies.

Is all of the shyt he talks about going to happen if he magically wins? No. Is most of it going to happen if he magically wins? No. Is it an alright platform to run on to get your name out there for state elections eventually? Yeah.
