someone made a thread a while ago about how women with weaves were more likely to be with black men, while they see natural women with white men

i get what the OP is saying; a lot of these burb nikkas also have hyper-african sounding first names, and be the corniest mafukkas alive.
Example:
Kamau Bell

Dhani Jones:

As far as rules of thumb go it ain't bad, but you never know. Take me for example.
My hairline ain't bad but it could be better, so sometimes I rock the denzel washington ()
So when I did have an afro it looked like the B&W black power picture in OP.
but the irony is my shyt got fukked up from using sporting wave cream when I was young and stupid, tryna be on some swag shyt
Add some non-crisp sneakers cause I justdidn'tdon't give a fukk, and I would look like said swagless nikkas (or an 05 fubu jersey ass african ) depending on the day, when I'm as pro-black as they come
So going off experience I wouldn't trust it, but i know what you meant. Kinda like how if you take a seed and grow it in sandy instead of loamy soil, the crop might be weaker, the flowers less vibrant and the fruit smaller. Like there's an inherent blackness or africanness that is less manifest in black people that absorb european social rhetoric the most or grow up in predominantly white neighborhoods, and that deficiency is expressed in things like the person's fashion sense, diction, and hair. They get that white boy dirty kicks swag. That wash and go
Also, fukking barbers need to expand their repertoire to be able to properly trim and shape up an afro style.

That whole second part wasn't a disclaimer. It was only like 2 sentences.
The rest was just free writing/ following my train of thought. This thread was just a random thought, hence something I've noticed but some coli people are so used to generalizations and all or nothing that they think that I said Every black man in an afro is a c00n. It's expected by now which is why this forum is so easy to troll and make platinum threads.
nah i meant disclaimer for my postThat whole second part wasn't a disclaimer. It was only like 2 sentences.

Lol I thought about tagging you too. But that's not what this thread is about. I love men with hair.
I know how coli likes to twist things around so I expected that. It's just interesting to see who read and understood and who jumped to being defensive.
Wearing an afro doesn't mean you are a c00n or out of touch with black culture. I'm saying I find it interesting that often when a black dudes is surrounded by white people, he usually rocks a fro.
Guys in the hood wear fros too but they tend to get shape ups and take care of it where it still looks current stylish, hence I said they rock it with swag.
Other dudes, rock an old school looking afro, where it looks dated like that's the only style they know of because they don't know how to take care of their hair or they just rock it same way a white kid might where a shag style. But it's not just the fact that they wear a fro but a lot of the times that's the only way they style their hair.
Then I noticed a lot of comedians a actors that play token black or are mixed and grew up with white families have afros.
Basically, its like black people have a culture of taking care of their hair and appearance. Having it look polished and being trendy. That's why hairlines are always discussed.
@HideoKojima You already know, because people always ask you, when are you gonna do something with your hair. That happens to everyone growing out their hair; either that or they ask are you trying to grow locs.
That is interesting thought. Because a lot of women who date white men, feel comfortable wearing their natural hairstyle but they feel black men want them to have their hair "done".
I understand OP's perspective a bit. However, nah I can't fully cosign that as something I've really noticed.
FWIW I virtually have nothing but black friends and up until recently my fro fit the OP's latter swagless category
until I experienced an epiphany and took my swagless fro havin ass to my barber.![]()
Got a mean lineup, with that temp fade + kink fro look
@CinnaSlim
I feel where you're coming from tbh. Although I'm proof that you shouldn't paint us all with the same broad brush.I should show you a before and after.![]()
Come on now black women get thier hair done long before they start dating. So the idea that getting thier done for men is crazy.
