Afro =/= c00n; this is what some people are getting from my post.

What I'm saying: I've noticed
a lot of "token black guys" (guys who hang out with majority white or non-black people) wear afros.

I found it interesting because afros are/were a symbol of Black pride. But it's also just a hair texture so not everyone rocking a fro is gonna be pro-black or militant or immersed in black culture.

I don't think that is 100% true. Plenty of c00ns in the 70's had Fros it was just a hair style people wore.
Yea some did it for pro black reasons but most did it to follow a trend.
