Not bad, could use some mixing and mastering to make it pop more, the clap needs to be turned up or layered with snare

Thanks for the feedback :salute: When you say that you mean you feel like the bounce in this version of the mix isn't pronounced enough? Or that my vocals are drowning out the clap?

EDIT: Listening back I hear what you're talking about, definitely agree the clap can come up more in the mix. Great feedback!

Its a common thing, you can either add a notch filter, layer it, I usually blend a clap snare and snap together and pan them in different directions to give it that weight and snappy sound, or you can just take the clap and put it on different tracks pan them left, right, and have one in the center, that way it's in front of the track

Mastering is a key to, so you can have the vocals in front of the music without turning them up to high

You might also replace the clap with a rim shot, they work good for those smooth mellow beats better than claps and snares

Protools has a plugin called sound replacer which is good for this because you replace the sound with the wavefile you don't need the session the beat was made on
