Console gamers have already accepted the fact that they pay a slight premium for each title because of the convenience. Online Multiplayer should have always been free, it's ridiculous that Microsoft got away with so much BS in the previous generation with GOLD.
Something tells me that Online Multiplayer on the XBOX won't require gold in a few months

Xbox Live isn't just online multiplayer, It's a unified service across all games ran on Microsoft's servers with party chat, cross game chat, cross game invites. It only cost $40 a year and it also comes with multiple free games each month. That isn't too much to ask and if people have a problem paying it they should game elsewhere.
Microsoft did an immeasurable service to console gamers creating Xbox Live.
And now we gotta suffer because of it on the Playstation.
Sad shyt is, I would still keep my PS Plus subscription even if we didn't have to pay for online. It's a great value.
Why would they be pissed off?? Last gen windows live was essentially the same thing as Xbox Live and it was free. I never understood the "lol GFWL" thing. Yeah Steam is better but still..

Had to recop BF4 on PC when i realized u were essentially just renting access to playing it online on PS4
Hopefully they implement this free online before Gears and Halo 5 drop
