How the hell is this overproduced?
The point of the album is that it's actually "underproduced", Rick Rubin and these people stripped away all the "Kanye West special effects" and kept the beats minimal as fukk. The only song which might be overproduced is Bound 2 which doesn't really belong on the album.

Now the fact that some songs were too intense is a completely different question, but try removing 1 sound and half the song is gone.
That J Lo song "Get Right".
That shyt actually hurt my ears because of how grating those horns were.
Thankfully they knew this and fixed it with the remix.
