YOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO......GO TO THE 1:16 MARK....the chick in the yellow dress....izzat....MOLLY QUERIM ROSE?!? :ohhh:

If NOT, she got a doppelganger out there, breh....it looks like a younger her with fatter face cheeks. :heh:

Wow, really? Cause I saw a documentary on The Making of Aja by Steely Dan, and when they reviewed how they made Black Cow, Donald Fagen was showing them love.

So you're basically sayin that he showed love BECAUSE they kicked in heavy :russ:

Probably, but it could also be that the musicians don’t actually own the rights to that song and whoever owns it is actually pressing for the money. That used to happen to a lot of P-Funk samples, George Clinton got fukked out of a lot of his publishing early on and there were Eddy’s who didn’t give a fukk about the music either charging out the ass or being dikkheads about the samples because they owned it.

Wolves by wutang on 8 diagram. Prolly one of the best wu songs of that era. Heard this version week before release

Then the album dropped and it was this. Like it still but original funkier.

NY all day..Da Stead & BK..
Ready to Die had 3 songs that changed on the final version because of sample clearances. They just interpolated the original samples:

I definitely prefer the original Me & My bytch, while Ready to Die and One More Chance are a wash.

Ironically they couldn't clear an El Debarge sample for the OG One More Chance but cleared a much more well known El Dabarge sample for the remix :mjlol: . Probably had to do with album budget.

Yeah I'm lucky that my older brother had the OG CD because Machine Gun Funk and Ready To Die's hooks just don't sound right without those samples. Especially Machine Gun Funk. The least they could've done was replace them instead of leaving them so barren :scust:

Prefer the album version of Me and My bytch. Prefer the originals of the other 2. And yea. Streaming version of Ready To Die is trash.

SINY!!
The OG version of TI's "Help" with the Barry White sample would have made that album so much better.

A lot of people prefer the OG version

But I think this one is just as good

I really wish they could've release the original album the way they recorded it with the samples instead of the replaying of samples. In this case the originals were better

Original

Album version

Same situation happened with 9th and Jean Grae's album they had to replay certain elements due to sample clearances

I feel the same about doggystyle gotta have extra backups cause I'll never be able to hearhear album the way it was intended to be heard ever again.

It's really sad to think about it.
