Sony Adds "Macro" transactions to GT6

Micro transactions are basically the cheat codes of today, sadly.
As long as the game isn't built around and just offered as an option then I'm okay with it.

The cars are always difficult to get in every entry of the series

This type of micro transaction isn't bad


As long as it's possible to get them free & the difficulty to get them isn't ramped up from the other entries, there's no problem

It's a big difference from Forza 5 where as the economy in that game is crippled for the microtransactions vs this game isn't changed so it's another option. Forza's grind is way harder from what I've read to get cars and is harder than previous forza's. It's all optional. It's like if BF4 introduced microtransactions to buy guns and attachments but decreased the amount of XP you get in matches so you'd rather buy the guns with cash instead. It's not the same thing. I already knew Loose or someone would make a thread on that while skimming the actual news.


People need to learn to read.

I will agree with you on that. A good chunk seem to be homotional, but then again most white gamers on gaming sites come off that way to me.

Forza ramped up the difficulty to get cars. By a lot. It's a fact.

GT6 has the same difficulty as past entries.

I don't care if it's like that, but I hate when difficulty changes to FORCE you to pay

I got heated when GTA online nerfed the pay from missions. Only reason to do that is to get people to buy those stupid ass cash cards

From the OP in that thread:

You get no cars when completing a series of events...You get no cars when leveling up anymore...They shove down the Token boost XP bullshyt and Tokens to buy cars.

Its' obvious that they want to make the game as much of a grind fest as possible so people will be encouraged to spend real money to get the cars they like.

& see, he has no reason to lie like you meach, he's no Xbox Stan. Just a disappointed gamer.

That's all the same FUD that they are saying about GT6 before its even released. I'd bet a great majority of those people have not played Forza 5 or they are not familiar with past games in the series.

The grind is what the game is all about. That's always been what it's about. You've always had to put in significant time in order to buy the expensive cars. I put in over 20 hours before I could afford a Bugatti in Forza 4.

The only differnce is that you don't get free cars, but that is balanced out by the fact that your drivatar is always making money.
