Driveclub is excellent...unfortunately it took them a year to make the game great.

Nobody was sayin Driveclub was going to "beat" Forza commercially, that's just some shyt dude you quoted made up to somehow feel good about his stannery in this thread. The company(Evolution) has had some trouble I guess since last gen and this time was the nail in the coffin. It most likely wasn't worth money to pump into a company after what's happened thus far.

I'm QUITE sure you and many others who say this probably didn't even play it to say so. The game IS good, don't let this news somehow make you think it's a bad game and saying it doesn't do things better than what's out isn't the point and that's subjective. I think it's a far better game than say NFS Rivals or that last shyt that came out.

I can't take anyone's opinion on DC seriously when they probably never played it for more than 10 minutes or they last played it back damn year 2 years ago. shyt went through a lot of updates and post launch support/DLC.

I don't care for sim racers like GT or Project Cars so something like DC with it's emphasis on great tracks, beautiful graphics, amazing car sounds etc could be what people like it for. Playing something like Project Cars is imo boring because it doesn't capture that adrenaline.

You dudes just can't accept that some people prefer this game and somehow if anyone says so, their trolling or their just delusional. No, some people just like the game man and the game is much better than what some reviews from OCT 2014 say.

I don't care what people prefer, I don't game to compare preferences, stan consoles or anything or that nature. If you like DC, good for you fam. Go play it. I don't care about other mens preferences on games.


However nikkas were dead trying to put this game up against Forza on some on this very forum two years ago, and that shyt ain't flying. Not in 1 billion years. Not then, nor now. Game isn't bad by any means, but it doesn't excel in any category against competition, and if Need For Speed is your barometer for "well it's better than this", that's a weak argument and you know it.

And I'm QUITE sure I gave this game an honest and open-minded chance and found myself wanting to boot up Forza instead after a couple hours. Which is exactly what I did. Like what you like bro, but let's not act like there weren't Driveclub vs. Forza threads on the Arcadium.

nikkas need to learn that your personal taste is NOT universal and doesn't apply to everybody. I don't like Forza,Halo,or Titanfall. That don't mean their bad games at all, just my preferences.

Lionheads studios is about to close down and Fable Legends got cancelled, going by this logic Fable series is garbage and anyone who enjoys it is delusional and "hahaha" right?

Lucky for you since the PS4 has no decent titles, so you can now save your pennies for the wearable Kinect Sony is about to release this October. It going to be a steal at $500.

Invisible walls are a huge problem in a racer in 2016. Or any game for that matter.

Why do Yall excuse the shortcomings, then pretend someone is wrong for bringing them up.

The handling is trash. The A.I. Is trash there's little to no customization. The vehicle variety is trash. The only redeeming quality the game has is graphics

You look at the crew. The handling is bad, but you can literally drive coast to coast, and there's a large variety of different vehicle types and events.

Driveclub has none of that. There's nothing you can point to in Driveclub to say it excels at better than the other racers on offer.

Any one who's spent time with racing games in general will tell you it's bad.
