What's stopping them from just porting scorpio games to the x1? Like the did for this gen and last gen.

I find it hard to believe that Microsoft is releasing a console that powerful without flexing that power

If they made a game for scorpio that was crazy graphically, and ported it to the x1 with a huge downgrade (like the crisis series) how would they be lying in saying there won't be any scorpio exclusives?

Put it like this I can't play uncharted 4 on my PS3. That downgrade would be something serious. And besides it still won't be a Scorpio exclusive if I can play it on my X1. A lot mothersucker said the Neo was for VR. Naw that 6tf is mainly for VR for the Scorpio. It's the only way Xbox can have VR this gen

But there are plenty of examples to show games being ported with huge downgrades.

If Scorpio uses all its power it should not be able to run on a Xbox one. Like Phil said no different sku's or nothing. The game must run on both consoles just like the Neo. Only difference is PlayStation owners don't have to wait 18 months for a more powerful ps4.

Regardless of all this. playstation and Xbox will still be great like they are now. And playstation will still have the better exclusives like they have forever
