This is what they gotta do to make the investment in these types games worth it. Gotta sell it and repackage it a few times. They need to fund factions development which is taking them a lot longer than expected.
TLOU2 was more than worth it. It's an all-time selling game. and it's hella popular
ND just not reading the room. They tried to do some grandiose open-world multiplayer game, and it was a bust. Fans just want a simple online multiplayer addition. That's it. It wouldve been cheaper to do than whatever the hell their original idea was, and it would've been released by now.
It has a long way to go to match TLOU. Games cost A LOT of money these days. They need to squeeze all the money they can out of TLOU2

Rumors that tlou 3 is in pre production at best.

Not concern trolling but when there’s smoke there’s fire and ND next original project is probably a ways off , if everything we are hearing is indeed true.
