The PC ports don't perform well because the games are old. Most of us have a PS5 and have already played them by the time they comes to PC.

If they want to sell more they should release the PC port at the same time. Helldivers 2 proves this works. I'd buy on Steam over PS5 if given the chance because of the Steamdeck.
And this is exactly why they don't do it

Well the thread title is they will come back. And that's a fact, jack. I'm about to tendernism this subject :wow:

So looky here young blood, as the need to use a console becomes obsolete. Everything comes in app form ya dig what i'm talking about?
And then, to get more meat on them ends, whats the difference from that or steam?
So they'll get all the chicken on the backend of the flip side of the game nah mean?
The problem with staying exclusive is the market itself is dying. As you know, games cost too damn much.
And the real truth is the internet itself has shortened attention spans and now its a bunch of morons speaking as if they know best.
But y'all run around like chickens, no heads. how the fukk are you still clucking?
If you are a Sony Stan, then you know damn well its been steady downhill since PS3 in terms of games that mattered.
We don't really give a fukk anymore, all their hits have aged.
You only hype up shyt if its exclusive. And now you have only a handful of those to dikk ride. But at least you sold more consoles, right?
Just to stay afloat they'll have to go back. Or actually give the next Concord a try :umad:

And the Weaker ps6 could outsell the NextBox. Who gives a shyt :stop: If the NextBox delivers on everything its supposed to deliver?
I don't care if YOU buy it. Or if more people buy something else. Do you own a car? Did you look up how many competing cars were sold?
Would it matter? I guess that mentality is also Sony exclusive :

Look Sony is pulling back because they want to assess how both the Magnus and steam machine will do when they release. Best believe if they flop Sony is putting first party games on pc especially if some of their tentpole games aren’t selling up to par. I think this is a wait see approach to see how much the Magnus and Steam machine move the needle in terms of coming into the console space. Once they see that their is no threat whatsoever games are coming on PC. Besides Sony is losing studios not gaining and I expect they are going to lose more. You think locking exclusives to one platform is going to help in the long term? You got almost a 100 million console users and their exclusives are barely reaching double digit millions without crossgen or a PC port and the budgets seem like they are going to get worse not better for some of their triple A single player games.

What the hell are you talking about lol?

There's a load of MULTIPLATS that don't even get double digit millions that are on MULTIPLE platforms. Why do y'all always say this silly shyt as if being on more systems automatically mean way more money? You know how many games still haven't hit 10 million yet?

Idk if you got the memo, PC gamers don't care about Sony games like that. Sony probably made MORE money from the few Xbox games that released on PS5 than all their ports to PC combined(excluding HD2).

None of them are being dangled as bait for buying one specific piece of hardware. And none of them get bundled/discounted/given away the way sony games do. And most of them have much smaller budgets than sonys big games.

It’s clear they are looking for a way to make more revenue off their software.

This has literally nothing to do with my original statement :dahell:

I said having games on multiple platforms doesn't automatically equal MOAR PROFITS!

You just rushed in to respond with some stan shyt. :mjlol:

Sonys position in the market is unique. Sonys market goals are unique. Sony’s results are unique.

Pointing to what other games do without context is a deflection from the matter at hand.

And your statement “having games on multiple platforms doesn't automatically equal MOAR PROFITS!”

Is absolutely false. Every game publisher knows a larger potential user base results in more profit.

Lol how so? It's nothing controversial. All I'm saying is the determining factor for a game being successful isn't solely based on platform availability or release date.

If you released a product on Amazon it doesn't mean it will sell like hotcakes likewise selling only in your hometown doesn't equal failure.

This is a different statement than the one you said before. I would agree with this.

You said before that releasing on more platforms doesn’t equal making more money.

That’s false. Just depends on how much money you are willing to sacrifice to prop up an individual platform.
