Apparently it still is, PS5 isn't struggling to move units. So far the PS5's first party titles is reaching PS4 status imo. Only thing we missing is a ND game. One GTA and Wolverine drop I thin this convo will be done. Yeah like @Gizmo_Duck said it's weird to be saying you don't think PS5 had much important games but then you basically stressing over what Sony may/may not do.

GTA 6 is a timed exclusive sir and we know the PC version will be the superior version. Only one we stressing over is Wolverine. I been said I’m salty on that one.

None of that matters, when it drops in November and everyone is playing it you're not going to be sitting there with a PS5, with a GOTG contender out talking about "Meh PC version will be better! I'll wait till next year"


shyt will be glorious even on the PS5 Pro. Crimson Desert running at 4K/60fps with PSSR2, you think GTA 6 about to be some blurry mess running at 30fps? Lol.

Oh and you'll be stressing over Intergalactic as well. Then GOW Trilogy Remake. Then whatever else is coming. I like high end PC gaming but to be real ain't nothing BAD on PS5 even to be like I'm skipping it to play on PC. The games visually on PS5 Pro looks insane still compared to PC. It's not like the 2013 era where there was significantly worse console versions that warranted just playing on PC e.g. Battlefield 30fps 32 player lobbies compared to 60fps 64 player lobbies.

Now if it's true, it may be temporary, as more ppl are shifting to pc and most gamers buy less than 4 games a year.

This gen told us that exclusivity just means exclusive until it isn't anymore.

And with rising costs you're more likely to see more games come to more platforms like Switch 2, than them pulling back on PC releases.

The PC ports didn't do what Sony intended and likely never will achieve that. Sony is about their own ecosystem first and all their actions are to boost that. People who game on PC and haven't bought a PS5 aren't going to because Sony ports years old games. They also aren't interested in paying high prices for old games.

Deadass my PS5 is collecting dust cuz all the exclusives I wanted for it come to PC a year later. If Ghost Yotei isn't getting ported I might have to dust it off. But either way their games are still getting bought. However the biggest factor for consoles is the affordability with ram prices sky-high the next Playstation might end up being $600-700 dollars. If thats the case folks might sit out next gen

Sony is definitely waiting to see how the steam machine and project helix affects their console space which I think it will as long as they keep PS6 at a lower price. But here’s the thing the pc market is growing and I know people will say it’s too expensive for hardware but people will just scale back and not buy the high end GPUs if it’s too expensive. Besides most people have mid tier setups judging by the steam survey. Consoles only sell slightly over a 100 million I’m sure the budgets for PS6 games will be higher than PS5 and they can’t depend on live service games to be extra revenue since they are hit and miss. Eventually Wolverine will have to find a second home. Plus we still need to hear officially from Sony which I don’t think we will hear from them since they had their insiders do more talking then they have. They can easily go back on this if they decide to do Pc ports again.

You keep ignoring the fact that Sony makes most of their money from Playstation network, and theres literally no room for growth of that service in the PC market. The entire point of exclusives and console hardware is selling the Playstation ecosystem, porting to Steam just bypasses Playstation network entirely.

Only exclusives I care about from Sony is Wolverine and God of war if Kratos is involved. I don’t give a fukk about Intergalactic, Saros, Ghost of Yotei, or Horizon.
