Now when a developer is told "path on the left = bootlegging you games, Path on the right = DRM protection" which path you think they gonna take

You do realize these features are there because developers asked for it.
Sony/Microsoft don't make there money off games, they make it off of hardware/accessories/etc. Lets all turn off the spin cycles for the betterment of the community (in this thread at least, cuz you guys need a reality check pronto!)

And here's the catch on that since fanboys don't really think.
There isn't that many 1st party games period by either company. 1/2 a year?
PS4 games seem to be behind schedule (I heard that was the case about xbox by the fanboys)
And sony most of all has been the quickest to offer there 1st party titles for free

Uncharted isn't 1st party, but its free
When PSN went down, LBP and Infamous was quickly given away
Sony is leading the charge on free to play. So expect there first party titles to be free to play which thus makes there statement another false positive (Story Tru)

This isn't fanboy console war nonsense I'm spittin here. But this community isn't being run right, so INFO that should be most important to YOU PSFanboys is pushed to the side while you speculate how the PS4 will come bundled with a Vita

no, the drm isn't the exact same as microsoft. It's the exact same as the ps3. For one, you can actually loan out and SELL your games without checking in with Microsoft and giving them a cut. Two, you don't actually have to check-in to be able to play your games. It's kind of nice being able to play your games without having to check-in to micrsoft.

Why didn't he say that on stage? "We won't require it but our third party partners may choose to implement it as its possible on our platform."

No he got on stage and said no activations of games then they make a video about sharing games on ps4 then in an off screen interview he when pressed about it comes clean.

Talk about exploiting a situation by telling half the truth for pr gain.

He said it the way he did to give off a signal to the publishers. Of course Sony could never flat-out dictate what features publishers can and can't implement in their games, but they could show they do not support it one bit, and neither do the consumers, and in that they succeeded.

They're going to allow DRM on PS4 if third party publishers choose to do it. Almost exactly as I said. They just didn't wanna take the heat for it so he gets on stage and says no activations of games on PS4 and the crowd eats it up but that's only half the truth.

The online passes shyt has been going on this gen, and this is the same thing.

And you're the nikka talking about, "I'm getting every console because of the exclusives" right? Sony said it's in the hands of publishers, and that they're not going to restrict used games for their 1st party console exclusives.
