They don't have anything to counter this. MS did a great move. :salute:
And they already have Mass Effect available for BC so I can imagine a bunch more AAA titles will be available within a year. I been playing Perfect Dark non-stop on my XB1.

...and what way is it a great move? Congrats to you for actually using it but bc is one of those things people love...but very rarely actually use. And Sony has PS Now.

You a mess :russ: go over there fam. The BC ability makes the game look better where you are streaming Toy story for 9 dollars for 24 hours.

The thing about PDZ that takes away from it is the pitiful art direction. That shyt is ugly as far as aesthetics but the tech behind it is still marvelous as a launch title. That and Kameo were. Parallex mapping and polygon pushing in PDZ is still good as far as examples on the console.

PS now is a complete mess. If you don't see that I can't help you. BC has always mattered and was a HUGE talking point in defense of the PS3.

PS NOW Pricing
Rental Pricing

When you rent a PlayStation™Now game, you are given unlimited access to play that game on any device running PlayStation Now, for the duration of your rental.
PlayStation Now games are available as single-game rentals, with most prices ranging from $1.99 to $19.99. Publishers and developers will ultimately decide their game price points. Most, but not all, games have three rental duration options: 4 hours, 7 days, and 30 days. Publishers and developers decide what rental durations are offered on a title by title basis.
If you would like to give feedback on PlayStation Now or talk with fellow gamers about the service, you can access the forum here: http://community.us.playstation.com/t5/PlayStation-Now/bd-p/PSNow
Rental Duration
From the time you complete your rental transaction, you have 30 days to play the game for the first time. If you don't start playing within that time, you will lose access to the game, without a refund. Your rental starts when you play the game for the first time after completing your rental transaction.
Example: If you rent a game for seven days on July 1st, but you don't actually play it for the first time until two days later, on July 3rd. Your rental clock starts on July 3rd, and you have seven days from that date to play the game. The two days that passed between completing the rental transaction and playing for the first time are not counted against you.
You can find out how much time you have left with a rental and see your active rentals by going to the My PS Now Games > Rentals section. Any rentals you have played (current or past) can also be found in the My PS Now Games > Play History section.

So paying an additional monthly subscription, or paying up to $20 to rent a game for a month is supposed to compete with the ability to pop in an old disc you already own and playing it for free?

Great feature...and by far the best move I've saw ms do for the new console. I can only imagine the uproar on the PS blog about this. The 4 owners are constantly complaining how the ps3 got all of the older Sony games and all they can get is the new ones. Getting behind PS now and brushing off BC just makes you look like a worthless dikkrider. I'm for whatever is benefiting the gamer.
