PS now is a complete mess. If you don't see that I can't help you. BC has always mattered and was a HUGE talking point in defense of the PS3.

I'm sure they'll sort it out with time. Personally I don't care about bc, and I suspect the majority of gamers don't care either. I've completed everything I wanted to complete on the PS3, I'm interested in current gen like most gamers and I already have a big enough backlog that I don't need to add to.
