but only one of those platforms are completely unwilling to properly assist their customer after getting their account compromised.

like ive said, ive dealt with sony over suspect transactions on my account. i literally had to argue with them just to get them to LOOK INTO the shyt, let alone actually do something about it. i didnt get my money back cause it was such a hassle trying to just get them to open up an investigation, i just never contacted them to find out the results. id rather just take the 20$ loss

I agree their customer service is shaky. :manny:

There is a huge bias toward sony, they can almost do no wrong at this point. Its something I've always disliked, more so because sony customer service has all ways been booty.

1) they knew he was hacked before this shyt went viral and didnt wanna do anything about it till the threat of their public image being tarnished was at their doorstep.

2)true, but companies dont usually need public outcry before they jump on the ball with helping out their hacked customers account.

3)i have gotten hit at both, i got my money back very easily at the restaurant, sony however doesnt seem to give a shyt once the money is already spent.

4)even still, its sonys damn job to protect their customers compromised information regardless how it happened. they really told this dude he'd have to wait 6 months to get his account back while the hacker would still be the primary account holder during that time, basically deal with it on your own.

5)im fully aware that this could happen on live but im confident that if i had a live account that was hacked, microsoft would do what was necessary to secure it as soon as possible, sony's customer service department seems like its ran by death row records.

breh, there could be a 50 page thread on some random microsoft policy that affects almost nobody that will buy the x1, but sony literally tries to debo some dude outta 600$ and this shyt is dead.

what happens when we get to the point where people have hundreds of dollars worth of games tied to their psn? will sony start bullying people into not complaining about their shyt service, that we all pay for, by threatening to wipe their games?

This policy is pretty fukked up. People were talking about Microsoft trying to take away game ownership. It looks like you really don't own the games you buy from PSN. If they can revoke your ownership of ALL you previous games whenever they cancel your PSN account.

That's not cool at all. PS4 got DRM after all :scust:

Add that to the fact that PSN is insecure as fukk. Won't be joining PSN or buying digital games when I get my PS4:smh:
