You don't give out your info for share play. That's the point. You are supposed to be able to securely share your games.

you dont share info on share play...when you share play, people only have access to the game you are share playing with them, nothing else on your system...and yea, it's secure to share play....in the destiny case: the cat share played his game, and the person he did it with was an a$$hole and deleted his shyt...wasnt nothing about security....

Yup I worked at gamestop during the era of ps2 disc read errors as well. Trying to play blue back disc was a dice rolls on ps2. People still bought the systems like it was nothing though, it blew my mind. I was playing online matches on a system with better graphics and people where still like

:patrice: Microsoft....

I truly don't understand it. I guess the Playstation is alot of peoples "NES" just like nintendo can do know wrong to alot of older heads sony can do no wrong. It's kinda out of hand now with the internet tho...
Oh shyt :myman: I've never encountered another gamestop/wherever employee from that time period.
I been preaching this shyt to these dudes since back then. And none of them dudes believed me
The guy who was the manager at my store was still managing at a different store when the X360's came out and he said the RROD problem paled in comparison. I just remember two rows stacked to the ceiling, once they got shipped out, it would refill quickly unless we was just sold out. Did you have reps from different companies come to your store to ask questions like we did? (funcoland)
PS2 had more games and just was a better console to have breh.

We had the GOAT JRPGS, GOAT fighting games, GOAT exclusives and timed exclusives. I mean, it was a wrap breh. Yeah, you were playing capcom vs snk 2 online, but we was playing grand theft fukking auto 3 and san andreas :umad:.

The fukk was dudes playing on Xbox?? Blinx?? :mjlol:

PS2 was just a better console breh>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Xbox 1 only had like a few notable games I wanted to play but besides that, XBL was too early. Nikkas was still coming to dudes cribs to get the beatdown in Madden, NBA Street, Def Jam or w/e. PS2 era :ahh:

It ain't no different this time around :umad:.
See bruh, you ever hear the term ignorance is bliss? Let me skool you right quick right fast.
You know how you love online gaming. Imagine of your PS4 didn't have online, and the XB1 did.
Which system would you say is better?
Do I even need to continue? Ok.. How about if one system had cable internet ONLY. the other had dialup or cable at a time when dialup was the standard.
Are you slowly beginning to see where you failed in life? Hold up, there's more.
Imagine if your favorite games, instead of having minor differences like 100more "p" than the other console
the differences where night and day. Like one was 720p and the other was 360p :scust:
And.. the online levels of games where totally different and smaller on PS2.

If the difference doesn't matter, then how do you guys say the PS4 is the better system for that exact reason
Yes, the PS4 lacks in every other department. But hey, 100p means a lot to stan :to:
To finish off this debate with a fatality. This list is mighty impressive wouldn't you agree?

Max Payne (please mention the PS2 version, then look at a IGN review and they'll break it down for you)
Splinter Cell 2 & 3 Online is one of the best online games ever made, completely different on PS2
Rainbow 6: Broken Arrow :banderas: And nikkaz wanted to talk about Socom :bryan: nikka.. wowzers
Star Wars: Obi Wan was a dope launch title
Knights of the old republic 1 & 2 are titles you heard of, but I'm gonna skool you.
Lets not forget Jade Empire
Or Mech Assault
Conkers bad fur day :manny:
Halo 1 & 2 are some little known of titles
Xbox Music Mixer let you easily turn yourself into Dr.Dre and then you could record vocals over it and upload it for anyone to listen to :dj2:
Brute Force
Bruce Lee: Quest of the Dragon
DOA3 & Volleyball with mo' titays
Forza
Gun Valkyrie
Jet Set Radio Future
Kokuto Chojin
NFL Fever
Ninja Gaiden and NG:Black
Panzar Dragoon orta
Project Gotham racing 1 & 2
Phantom Dust
Quantum Redshift
Sega GT 2002
Spikeout
Steel Battalion
Tao Feng
Toe Jam & Earl III
UFC: Tapout
Unreal Championship

Also had a disc that XBL Arcade was stored on because XBL wasn't ready to have them on live yet
I remember having Mr.&Ms.Pacman, Joust, a few other titles that we couldn't transfer over to X360 :birdman:

Seriously. PS2 was just THAT system. Nikkas who copped Xbox 1's were just trying to go against the grain. Sony had the comfort console. You hardly had notable games missing from PS2's library and you also had a gang of niche games coming to it also. Online wasn't too big a deal because the early 00's, internet wasn't as antiquated as it is now. I didn't get real internet access at home until 2004.

Son...u really tryna compare THAT list of games to what the PS2 had overall?..honestly?..and I LOVE my OG Xbox...I still play my modded one damn near every day...but let's get real...technically Xbox was a superior system but it didn't matter cause it didn't have the games to compete wit the sheer volume of PS2 games fam..it was literally no contest...none..then add to the fact that Microsoft literally stopped support for the Xbox when the 360 released...like completely halted it...while Sony kept supporting PS2 and dropping exclusives for the system even after PS3 came out...God Of War 2 couldve easily released on the PS3 but they still dropped it on the PS2 instead ..

The PS2 is probably my 2nd favorite system.

My top 5 in no order would be SNES, PS1, and 2 Xbox and Dreamcast.

But the PS2 had problems on a massive scale at launch, being the front man and hearing the non sense of sony fans for decades amazes me. Some of the reasons people would legit not buy a system that had games they wanted baffled me.

Like what?? PS2 had more games than the OG Xbox and it had a MUCH wider variety of games too. The problems it had wasn't going to deter someone from recopping. This isn't today where both libraries are virtually the same.

PS2 has so many d- minus games. Most people buying the systems didn't play 80 percent of what dropped. Some of the best games and online experiences I've had were because of xbox live.

And once Bioware started dropping gems on the xbox I had people that would come in dying to play there games but refused to buy the system. That hasn't changed much today.

PS2 game selection was massive most of it wasn't worth playing if we are going to be honest. I checked out a many random games just to play because it was there...

:beli:

That's why there was so many games. You could ask multiple people about their favorite games and you'd get different answers.

The PS2 was THE system to have breh. Yeah, that's nice you had fun on your Xbox, I did too on my gamecube but denying the PS2's library or downplaying it is just :camby: to me.
