We already had music streaming since 2001?
Now on Xbox One we have the snap feature so we can run two things at once. Internet, TV, apps. So we can do what your doing but on a larger scale. Your stuck with sony's unlimited service which cost additional fees
For free we can snap whatever (spotify for example) and play which trumps your solution. Just saying

MS aint got nothing on this and we still have the Tokyo Game Show

Gamestop has the same deal, for the physical version, its 10 bucks to upgrade.

We have no idea how much sony will charge. I'm expecting much more than $10 or they would of said that.
So expect $30 which is still a decent deal. But not really because its one month later for most of those games.
You can just sell your PS3 version on craigslist and accomplish that
