I agree and the thread title should be change to reference the fukkery that just went on.
Fixed. It ain't a job, no label is going to guarantee you a fixed amount every month
, especially for a brande new artist. You get an advance against production of X amount of copies of your album being sold, that has to be recouped before you can get your cut, plus a budget for your incidentals, music video, and marketing depending on how serious the label is and how much they think of you as an artist.
