This actually has me kinda nervous because I loved NV(easily in my top 5) and I really want to see how Obsidian could fix Fallout 4, they hit it out of the park with NV and it will be really sad if they dont get to make their own fallout game again. I really really hope Avellone is wrong.

I dont play that shyt on PC....

I want a new console version for PS4.... I fell in love with that series after i brought a $20 copy for my xbox 360...

The combat, the storyline quests, the dragon fighting, the magic, the armor forging, the hearthfire dlc add-on I made a safe and had like hundreds of diamonds and jewels, had a safe full of gold and silver bars...

The only thing missing was a way to make money by opening a store of some sort... I wish they added like a economy dlc add on where taking the skills you had made in the world you got paid for opening a specific shop, like if you was strong in alchemy you can have an alchemy shop with a helper and make money on what you make, or a forge, or a bakery... import materials and food needed for the creation of the stuff you make... Goddamit Bethesda why didnt you add this into the GAME!!!

i get that they made the better game but let's be honest-- Obsidian had an easier time doing more with the engine because they didn't have to really make anything except new content. Yeah fo3 used a dated engine but surely a lot of the effort went into the graphics and minor diagnostic tweaks alongside a story with branching paths, so it becomes clear to see why new Vegas was more fleshed out

nah Bethesda just doesn't care about making good rpgs with with good stories anymore, their goals have changed.

I feel the Fallout series has run it's course. After playing their games for a good while, I end up finding their fetch, find and kill this quests tedious after a while. I still haven't finished the last one yet. I'm close, but other new piff keeps coming out. Definitely impressive games, but they need to switch it up or put something new out entirely.

And that engine sucks compared to today's standards. I don't see why dudes still try to defend that.

I put like 100 more hours in NV than Fallout 3, and 200 more than Fallout 4. Obsidian knows how to make a good RPG. It's a shame they can't make NV2 or something like that

I gotta say, you're somewhat right. I didn't want to believe it, but after Fallout 4, I can see what you're saying. Bethesda really needs to up their game
