As someone that only watches nba basketball, so much stock is put on where the players were ranked in high school and that makes no sense to me.

If the defense or critique of a player is "he was supposed to be"_______

Why would you trust the people that told you "he's supposed to be ______" and has been wrong the last 20 years

Nah, it's the Michael Beasley / Derrick Williams / Thomas Robinson ish, all these guys were similar rebounders in college and all around the same height as Cliff. Physically dominant players, but when they get to the NBA they're no longer the biggest dude on the court and it rarely works out for them.


Draymond in College was a swiss army knife, they played him at the 4 but he did a little bit of everything. These undersized 4s in College that rely on strength and athleticism rarely do well at the next level.

Draymond bout to be the patron saint for undersized pf's and sf/pf tweeners. Everybody gonna ignore all the tools he brings and just slap the "possible Draymond Green type" on all them nikkas.
