well they hoped the PEOPLE (99%ers) would understand how it feels to do work and not get paid properly for the work you've performed. Since it happens to us 99%ers everyday. but just like during a NBA lockout. the 99%ers are to stupid to see the chess game going on. we still playing checkers. We get upset with the ball players "aww poor little rich ball player... look at how rich you are, still asking for more." While the owners making 3 times that amt and more are laughing not touching one ball, not taking one charge. People do not get economics. They only hate on those closest to them so they think. Let me hate on lebron getting more money cause i think i know him. but i dont know dan gilbert's rich a... so i'll cut him some slack. thats a pathetic line of thinking that most 99%ers have. Which is why we are the 99% to begin with. We dont believe we deserve anything, so we dont think anyone else thats a worker should get any more then they current have. big money owners are just the opposite. they will have more then their fair share and still cry about not having enough.

Jay, Be, Maddona, etc are what could happen if a regular were to have elite talent and everything spots up in the right position at the right time. but these people were still regular joes like you and me before they blew up.

a lot of these owners were never regular joes. they came from families of $$$$. They are trying to tell the people, hey people we are at the top of the food chain for artists. and they are still cheating us. just like they cheat you. THEY being large corporations. Come join us and lets take this thing back ourselves via the internet. But again 99%ers cant understand this logic because we thought the nba players made too much and we believed some owners were really going broke. then out of no where you find out the nba made some TV deal for billions. that didnt happen over night that was in the works pre lockout. the owners knew it. but they cried wolf like they always due and the fans went for it like always.

at what point do us regular joes and janes wake the eff up?

sounding like a bunch of republican broke white people yelling about they hate unions. not realizing if it wasnt for unions in these sectors of work, you your brokeself would make even less money. That union stuff you hate is the main reason they have to pay you what they pay you now. even if you are not in a union. so many union workers have set the price point. but because a bunch of million/billionaires says all unions are bad. you dummies 99ers believe it. no unions are not 100% perfect. but they are sure as hell better then non at all. No tidal isnt perfect. but that sure as hell is better then watching regular joes become stars and still watch them get raped. rape is rape...back alley or at a room in the Ritz-Carlton.
I get the morality of this...and I agree...(to an extent) but still this won't work if the business model isnt set up to survive the next 5 years...Jay still has to win the people before he can change the game...and his plight for the artists financial independence, when well over 80% of the population is financially enslaved (debt cycle, min. Wage, no full time etc.)...I just don't know if his listening audience is sensitive to him and his supporting artists concerns. Most people look at them and are reminded about how they flaunted their wealth in songs...why would anyone concern themselves with their pockets at this point...not well planned out imo....but I hear you tho, artists need to be compensated or it all stops eventually...but this wasn't the best strategy

But doesn't that technically mean he bailed out protesters?

Just because he didn't personally visit the bail bonds office doesn't mean he didn't help...

Dream Hampton is a journalist/activist so the money Jay paid HER could have been for ANYTHING.....It just so happened that SHE supposedly used it to bail out protesters that were HER close friends and associates involved in the "Black Lives Matter" demonstrations.

jay from people who know him. really cares a lot about black issues, but knows he cant get his hands dirty .. so he ues proxies to do some of his good will for him ... but that's what rich people do .. for anything .. you dont have to clean your house .. some body does that for you... same idea with bailing out the protestors and trying to keep it quiet ... and you cant fault him for fighting so hard to get to the upper echoln to lose it for appearance ...

also even if donating money to Baltimore bail some tidal marketing thing

Its good its happening :manny:

i dont disagree with a single point you made. not one. all im saying is to those listeners. us 99%ers. its about time we change our way of thinking. thats all i'm saying. sure jay gotta do what jay gotta do in order to make tidal work. if he has to sell these lame 99%ers some nonsense. then thats what he has to do to get them on board. but its about time we start recognizing stuff vs being apart of the hate parade all the time for the wrong things.

chess. not checkers.

someone says obeezy never done nothin for us black folks.

obama makes the feds give a billion dollars to ferguson under the title "for the poor"

well guess who most of the poor are in ferguson? You guessed it.. black people

chess, not checkers. and no this didnt happen in real life. i'm showing yall an example.

I dont run my mouth about giving black folks reparations or doing this and that knowing the white man is watching my every move. that would be stupid.

learn to be smart about it/ strategic.

Yea...hate has never won a war...hate doesn't put money in bank accounts either. I don't want to see Jay lose because he's been successful...heck I don't wanna see anyone lose. But u can't kick lines like "I respect the shooter" and expect a sensitivity hug from your audience...u taught and built a cold hearted and self absorbed public...he should be the first to know no one cares:stopitslime:
