Nah breh, I wanted this to be good (I'm lowkey rooting for Lakeith Stanfield), but it just ended rather....retardedly.

I get what Boots wanted to say but to say it like THAT was just..........really breh? :gucci:
I guess I'm more forgiving, I enjoyed it all. I'm only a harsh critique with rushed products like weak albums or poor movie adaptations.

see now you getting personal and trying to hide your hand.

we're done here.

You keep saying I'm using anecdotal evidence, but how much of the world have you actually seen as a grown man with 3 kids that doesn't work? And I'm not saying that as a diss, I had my son mad young and it definitely limited my experiences for a while.

You operate on this assumption that all people that are well off must steal it from others and it's not always the case.

If someone gave me and you $1000 apiece and tracked us for a month and I take my 1000 and buy a half a pound of weed and slow roll it to you an 8th at a time, and at the end of the month I have 1800 and you only have 200, was a crime committed? Do I have to give you 1800 instead of 1000 to compensate for your choices?

As far as places to help, they already exist. If a person wants to go there are plenty of programs to help addicts get on their feet. Do we hire people to round them up and force them to get treatment?

And as far as safety nets I'm all for them, but I believe the end goal should be to position people to where they can operate independently, like aid tied to job training programs and nutrition classes. Not for the government to take care of people their entire life like they're overgrown children.

And you might not like to hear it, but there are biological differences in people. Some are more prone to addiction, some people are compulsive liars, some people are drawn to risky behavior, some people are just boring. Some people are innate geniuses, some are dumb as a box of rocks. Most of us are somewhere in the middle.

There is no one size fits all solution without seriously infringing on people's rights.

300 murders a year
its a fine line between art, creativity and just being plain dam too weird for they own damn good. this movie was enjoyable but then turned into a type of nightmare you struggle to wake up from after eating chips and little debbie in the middle of the night.

it was really going somewhere too, then flopped right on its face. a movie you would see once, then want to forget you ever turned on.

I went to opening night. A few boring scenes but for the most part very memorable film.

If you say so but like I said, I had my first son at 20 years old and that set me back like a mf. If I had kept making babies I wouldn't have seen or done half the things I've been blessed to do. And I would've been woefully ignorant of the world around me.

It’s a great movie, there’s quite a bit to unpack. It’s truly Oscar worthy, it deserves it over that travesty ‘The Green Book’.

One of the all time worst movies ever made.

Only thing it did right was portray Oakland accurately with it being a bunch of nerd hipsters.

If you got grossed out near the ending, its supposed to make you feel disgusted. It's no different from capitalism using child labor, slavery, animal cruelty, and unethical experiments on people for the means of profit. In the movie, even though the CEO was exposed, he was still successful off of his mutants. Everyone turned a blind eye to the victims. Its pretty realistic.

I agree, it’s deliberately crazy and weird just to put the absurdity of our world system into perspective. The ‘work horse’ was a good angle to me. I think it’s a great piece of satire.

  • You have a living wage
  • Your essentials - food, water, shelter, are provided to you.
  • You can't choose your job, you have to work where the overall company needs you to work.
  • The program literally forces limited decision making on the individual and has a focus on "working as a worker ant to benefit the greater good of the whole"

Dont they do the same thing for the military? Even though they're given those things, they're still employees controlled by a higher power. In a socialist society, all employees should have control or say for the whole company.

eh everyone is entitled to their opinion. I went into Blindspotting not knowing anything and me and my girl really enjoyed it. Sorry to Bother you had some hype for a while which amplified the disappointment.
I think the hype is what ruined Blindspotting for me. It wasn't a bad movie, it just didn't live up to what I had heard about it.
