Most of the white Cubans were upper middle class back home. Ricky Ricardo/Desi Arnaz (IRL) came from a family of either doctors or lawyers I think. Those Cubans are usually 95 to 99% Spanish with a drop of African. They are white people and owned Cuba until Castro kicked them out essentially.
America wanted Cuba to be what Las Vegas ended up being. The president (dictator) Batista was down with it but Fidel said fukk that shyt....we ain't gonna be America's tourist spot and cum bucket. Not saying Fidel didn't have his own issues but the Cubans complaining about Fidel, are the same ones that kept their foot on Black Cubans necks.
