I know exactly what you mean by "basic humanity" and I tell you, it doesn't exist biologically...It is a social ideology that took many years of senseless bloodshed to develop, and even today, it only exist in countries were people are not worried about meeting their most basic physiologic needs...
Also, it is funny to me how Americans support their Government carpet bombing entire countries just to kill one or two terrorists, but ISIS doing whatever they can to achieve their goals is somehow more repulsive...
It is seems to me mass killing in the name of "patriotism" is more acceptable than mass killing in the name of "religious fidelity"...
