While Ive grown incredibly suspect about the classic "Isis claims responsibility" for any and every terrorist attack for the last however long (it would be in the benefit to claim every one regardless), this one is a pretty clear cut case. Absolute tragedy. :beli:

Isis is run like a theocratic tribal pseudo confederacy or some shyt. Everyone likes names and targets (jihadi john etc), but in reality Isis = their cause (an intangible). its a bacterial culture that can just keep replenishing without change since ideology is their leadership and that will always remain stable to them:beli:

Now theres a raid in Belgium said to be connected per CNN -
@mbewane you gotta get outta europe for a min man. :merchant:

Socialism is an economic doctrine. Are you confused friend?

Maybe you are a non-Marxist socialist, but if you are a Marxist or agree with the foundations of Marxist analysis even a little, the material reality forms the basis from which political, social, etc. developments can occur. Of course, those developments also influence the base.

back on subject: italy has to get their shyt right regarding security. they are woefully lacking and cannot stop the influx of immigrants through sicily. the sicilians dont want them and send them north and that is an easy opening for extremists to get to the center of europe. when trump was asked what he would say to the pope, and said that isis is targeting italy/rome he was likely accurate. (not politicizing it)

How many times do we have to scream MAJOR. INTEL. FAIL.
About that guy from Montenegro arrested in Bavaria near the Austrian border on November 5 with an arsenal in his car.
His cell and the car's GPS revealed he was going to...Paris.
The car was taken apart; a feast of automatic weapons, 200 grammes of TNT, hand grenades, and lots of ammunition - everything carefully concealed in the car’s bodywork.
The Bavarians IMMEDIATELY told the French. Guess what happened next. I wouldn't like to be in the skin of the DGSI gang - internal service intel - now.

I'm convinced that these attacks could have easily been prevented by the government but they allowed them to go on.

It benefits them in the sense that now they can deal with the migrant crisis and put boots on Syrian ground. This is like europe's pearl harbour or gulf of tonkin and I expect to see radicalisation across Europe and Marshall law.

They want key Western capitals living in fear. And they want to lure Western boots on the ground in Syria.

How do you smash them? It's pretty easy to see.

In flat terrain like Iraq, Libya and most of Syria, there is something called cluster bombs.
With that, all of ISIS is wiped out in hours, only those holed up inside cities will survive, and they can be cut off and destroyed.
If you don't care about civilian casualties like Russia, or you can "manage " media access like the Israelis you can wipe out ISIS in a matter of 10 days to 2 weeks via close collaboration between the “4+1” - the Syrian Arab Army, Iranian and Hezbollah fighters with Russian air cover - and the Kurds, PKK, YPG, and Peshmerga.

“Comprehensive international coalition” to fight Daesh is fine. But Turkey, Saudi Arabia and Qatar, at the table in the Vienna charade, is a joke. And John Kerry should be realizing this in Vienna.

When Obama called ISIS a "JV squad" he even knows these guys can be wiped off the map really easily. But the efforts have been half assed. Yes, the US airstrikes have contained them from gaining territory but they haven't been completely destroyed and they've still had areas of movement.

With the recent attacks abroad, ISIS will be destroyed very soon especially if Saudi, Turkey, and Qatar get the fukk out of the way.
