The pool isn't deep enough at the top to sustain that sort of expansion. In the NFL, MLB, NHL when you at the best players you'll see there isn't a huge difference at the top even though there's immortals among them. There's a massive gulf between the superstars and the all-stars. Other leagues have more players at the top without a massive decrease in talent. In the NBA we're way too desperate to put the Paul George's, Kevin Love's, and the James Hardens on a level we know they're not on

True but because of the small amount if difference makers in the sport it doesn't matter how many teams u take away or add the NBA will never have parity

Louisville?? :what: What's next an NFL team in Tuscaloosa?
30 teams is enough
breh if green bay could support an nfl team, alabama could as well. there is enough money, and support to foster a team. both auburn n bama regularly sell out on saturday, a nfl team could easily take that sunday slot and do way better than say jacksonville or tennessee in numbers

The NBA should expand, just because there are markets where having a team there is more beneficial than having fans in the city, rooting for another team.... Vegas,Seattle,Vancouver,Kansas City in particular.

anytime you expand, you'll dilute your product... but it's not going to stay that way, it never does.

Seattles never getting a team back till sterns dead I know he's not the commissioner anymore but silver still listens to him and stern took it as a personal slight by the city when the mayor of Seattle bad mouthed him during the whole process and because of his Napoleon complex he vowed behind closed doors they'd never get a team back

The one true superstar right now is LeBron.. There is a large gap between Bron and other stars in the league but even he had to team up with two other all stars to get a ring. But other than that I don't see a huge gap between talent in the NBA. There's a few gaps but nothing monstrous. The first round of the Western Conference Playoffs told you that. And even then the so called stars who teams and fans depend on to show up had suspect games.. CP3, Paul George, Harden, Wade, Curry, etc. Of course stars make the league and attract viewers but they aren't the alpha and omega of the league like it was years ago. There might be a little dilution for a season or two.. but near as bad as you make it sound
