This is so real. It's a double edged sword though because can also make the negative happen as well based upon your thoughts. And when people reply with the most negative scenarios when you tell them your plans it permeates your subconscious as well. My parents are real bad at this.

I made a change about 4-5 years ago to stop doing little stupid shyt and start living right. Stop trying to hustle everybody and trying to hit a quick lick and just handle my business. Stop being such a male whore and try to build something more..

5 years ago I was in a 1 bedroom apt in the hood, with a cash car I bought a auction.

Now I live in two story house, with a SUV thats paid for.

I didn't go to church and get saved, I didn't stop drinking or smoking. it was just little shyt accumalting. Made sure my tags was up to date on my car, Stop worrying about buying Jordans and Polos an shyt, stopped fukkin hoes "just because", started working on my resume and networking, applying for new jobs even while I had one etc.

Next thing you know I would get a promotion, I stopped going to jail for stupid shyt. I was able to stack my funds and do the thing I wanted to do. I lost a few friends along the way but thats what happens when you trying to do something positive and some of your friends aren't

I liken it to the so-called power of prayer. If a person is truly determined to achieve a goal, then they will do so. Obviously, having an optimistic outlook while doing so is beneficial, but attributing it to saying positive statements or thinking happy thoughts seems farfetched.
