That meltdown in game two, coupled with the game winner, masked the fact that Haliburton was pretty non-existent for most of that night. He went into the fourth quarter of that one with like eight points and four assists. His lows are ridiculous and there's way too many stretches of a game where he's a complete non-factor.
We don't view Mitchell as a superstar but he will put his imprint on a game one way or another. Even if he shoots like shyt, you know he has a pulse and he's putting it all on the line. You can't say the same thing about Haliburton.
People got sensitive about the overrated poll but I think it was right. He's still a terrific player but he's clearly a level or two below a guy like Mitchell.
2-8 with five points and four assists is fukking INSANE.
