I swear most people don't even understand what "snitching" means on the street. We've let goofballs like Cam'ron go on TV and butcher the true meaning of snitching by saying he wouldn't tell on a serial killer, and now every fake thug in America think there's some honor in staying mum about shyt that has nothing to do with a "G-Code". :snoop:

Ok. So you snitched. Aint no big deal if you own up to it. Just say I wasnt willing to risk jail to kill this bytch so I told on her. :yeshrug:
That being said, "snitching" is only a thing if you are in the streets. If you arent in the streets, then you didnt snitch on her. You just made sure your friend got his killer convicted.
not only was i dumb and in the streets but i held rank.
And i definitely told my big homie like nikka what.
I got rank because the way i think= no room for error.
A walking felony. Having foot soldiers commit felonies.
I coulda took care of that bytch and i honestly would have.
There just was no way to do it clean. So i testified in A COURT OF LAW.

This is how the streets work. I know this because i been out here and lived long enough to see regret.
When nikkas stop running the streets and start filing taxes they get bored. Thats why we online.

The sting came after Harris' bodyguard was arrested purchasing the machine guns and silencers from an undercover Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives agent Wednesday, according to the Justice Department statement. The bodyguard then agreed to cooperate with the ATF, the statement said.

Rapper T.I. arrested on machine gun charges, misses BET show - CNN.com

^^^ whole article is here. T.I. was snitched on and it is on record that his bodyguard snitched on him, yet you got people that have ran with this notion that "T.I. snitched to get his time cut" for over a decade. Furthermore, T.I. wasn't caught with "army guns". He was implicated in purchasing them.
They avoid posts like this then keep running with DuckTales.

Can't hide a CI off the paperwork breh. There would be papers.

While this is true that paper work wouldn't be available to just anyone. Otherwise it would defeat the purpose of being a CI.

While that might be true, the person he supposedly snitched on would have all that paperwork. And would spread it around. Happens daily.

Ehh let's not act like Cam'rons mentality is exclusive to him.

There are a lot of people who would agree with what he said and that way of thinking didn't start with him

Not me, I'm just saiyan.:hubie:

Not necessarily.

The prosecution doesn't always have to reveal the identity of CI's. Usually they try to avoid doing that at all costs:

Learning the Identity of a Confidential Informant

In a criminal case, the prosecution must disclose information that forms the basis of its case. This process is called discovery. A defendant is entitled to the names and statements of the witnesses that the prosecution plans to call, as well as a list of physical evidence and documents. The prosecution must also disclose any deal it has offered to a witness in exchange for testifying. While normally prosecutors have to disclose all witnesses who are relevant to the case whether or not those witnesses will testify, they often don’t have to reveal the identity of confidential informants (CIs).

The defendant can request the identity of the CI if he can prove that it's relevant to the case....but there's all kinds of loop holes to get around that. For example, if there's other evidence independent of the CI's information, then the prosecution doesn't have to reveal his identity.

If it was as simple as "this person snitched, here's the paper work"....there would be no accusations. Only proof.

Fred.
