Yeah it does, and those Mary Jane bits are the worst thing about the game

They should have also toned down the crimes across the city or switched up the variety. It was way too many of them especially when you add in the DLC.

i felt the same way. I gave up on the game halfway. Doesn't hold a candle to the Batman arkham series. Everything is so repetitive and just boring.

I love it, the DLC extra missions/maps held me down for a minute but after I ran through those I haven't wanted to pick it up. It's a great game but just like the Arkham joints it's repetitive and can be unsatisfying after the movie is over.

Whilst I Agree the combat can get repetitive, you can mix it up with your gadgets and upgrades to make it interesting. Plus, there is plenty to do outside of combat and plenty of costumes to upgrade from.

I don’t know what more you want out of a game. I gave it a solid 8.5/10. Very few games are not going to have repetitive combat. DMC is based on juggling but it doesn’t get boring because you can mix it up.

I'll say what I always say about this game. Spider-Man is a good game but not a great game. It's an 8/10. If you're not feeling it, you're not feeling it.

Personally I enjoyed it. So much so that I purchased the DLC, which normally don't do.
