Really? Oh wow didn't know. My cat harness kind of goes around the body of the cat.

well it was slightly ill fitting (too big) on her then because i couldnt find one small enough to fit her 4-5lb self...so it would kind of sag to the side when i put it on her...but this was last year when i first got her....and we moved away from moms house so i don't try to walk her anymore...we moved from the burbs to the hood...so she just stays inside....and now when we go to my moms she goes out back w/out a leash but doesnt stray and stays in eyesite
(lol @ walking a cat anyways) she would just sit there like and play w/ the planters on the deck

at the end of the day...i love ALL pet owners because its a wonderful thing to save a life and open your heart/home to a new companion...the best thing about cats and dogs is that they don't give a shyt about your money your job your car your looks or you social standing...if you love them...they love you back

Those pics brought a tear to my eye. My cat would mess around and take off one of my fingers if I tried to walk her, lmao. We let her roam around the neighborhood by herself but she never leaves the block and will almost always stay on this side of the street. Plus she usually is back within the hour so I don't really worry about her.

We got a couple stray cats on my block and a couple neighbors have dogs but she punks the ish out of all of them. She is so stuck up and mean towards other animals.


But speaking of stray cats. Am I the only one that leaves food/water out for them? They just be looking so sad and skinny I don't have a choice. It breaks my heart to see an animal fall apart like that.

Pretty much. You gotta spend time getting to know the cat and making sure its needs are met. It also depends on the personality of the cat.
If you want to have a good relationship with your cat you have to basically court it.

I know cats cant help scratching stuff so the first thing I did when I bought my little nikkas home was buy a couple of scratching posts. That's to keep them from scratching the furniture.

Then I bought these nikkas a cat tree to keep them off the counters. The tree is by a window so that they can bird watch.

Cats are also way more intelligent as far as combat/hunting. If you've ever seen a cat hunt....look at what it does....it stalks, then pounces, sinking it's teeth into the back of the neck immediately. Big cats do the same shyt....except on larger prey they tear into the leg tendons with their claws wearing it down before doing the neck bite. When I play fight with my cat, he'll wrap around my arm with it's paws and playfully bite my forearms, but will try it's damndest to try and bite me on my inner wrist.....right where the main artery is. Cats know exactly what they're doing.
