Your point is based on pure speculation. In a 7 Game Series the better team usually wins. Can't argue "the best team in the league was actually the one that lost in the second round, they just had a bad match up". It's cool to argue "what if" but that doesn't make it a fact...

If you can't get to the finals you can't win the finals that's why being in the east is important. It's an easier path. More opportunities. In the west, each step is another legit contender that might fukk up your year.Theyve never even beaten the Wizards in a playoff series since Mike retired. The responses in this thread look real crazy in hindsight with the way CP's been performing with Harden this season.
Harden's about to win his first MVP and for the first time since 2013-14 the #1 seed out West is someone other than the Warriors.
CP3 upgrades superstars when he gets around them (Harden, Blake, etc.) and he's proven this season that he can be great off-ball, whilst it's proven to be the opposite for Bron.
They definitely 3-Peat if they face the same competition in the Finals (Mavs, OKC and Spurs).
