I just keep thinking how happy I would be if I had gotten the last job I interviewed for, it would've been literally life changing for me, and to top it off the hiring manager told me I interviewed extremely well but she decided to go with someone with experience. I'm kind of an introvert homebody (definitely gotten much more outgoing as I aged), and I've been broke all my life. Definitely saving up money once I get this first accounting gig.
yeah its weird like that, I know a few people at work making great coin but still living at home, they don't leave until they are married and sometimes even then they stay and look after their parents its weird.
I remember when my folks bought the house im in right now, the people before who lived here were chinese and there were like 12 people living in the house like 3 generations

I'm introverted as well breh, traveling on your own is basically the ultimate expression of that.
Once you get the job, your ability to go where you want when you want will be limited, which is why I'd say to do it when you're young.
im a introvert as well and a homebody ala all my posts. I don't club only drank alcohol twice, dont care about "hanging out", work then home and football and binging on movies/tv shows, but i love travelling.
whether its filling up the tank or hopping on a train or airplane.

haha, see, to me traveling alone is kind of daunting/intimidating. I think I'll be okay with using some PTO, taking a week off and going to somewhere like amsterdam with some of my friends

Its different for men and woman. Its acceptable for a woman to stay home longer than men until they meet their future husband or whatever. With men its different you have to be able to stand on your own two.

you dont need that much money breh trust me, its never been cheaper and easier to travel with like air bnb./ hostels, cheap flights.
I'm no 6 figure cert type breh, but I travel still, the great thing about travelling by yourself I don't care where I stay as long as its safe and clean.
I've gone on trips with girls before and it had to be a 5 star resort or like a hilton hotel
when your single the world is yours, when I went to cuba I flew out on a friday, i booked my trip on the wednesday, I didn't care where I went just had a week and said F it.
The great thing as well with apps like tinder you can basically set up something in advance. This summer I went to vancouver like 2 months prior I "trolled" the city and ended up matching wiht a bunch of women, started talking to one, only talked to her on the phone once
